Amazon Prime Day 2016 ~Deals and Tips~

Click to find out what kind of Amazon Prime deals are being offered for Prime Day, as well as tips on how to save some extra cash on your purchases!

Today is THE DAY to be a Prime member over at Amazon!  Who wouldn’t want free 2-day shipping, right?  If you are not yet a member, you can sign up for a free 30 day trial that you can cancel at any time.  They have the very best customer service, so you can order with confidence.  We’ve been with Amazon since 2006 and wouldn’t dream of NOT having Amazon Prime.

This post may contain affiliate links.  You can visit the Disclosure tab to learn more.

There are literally hundreds of great deals.  I am trying not to go too crazy, but I did order another Kindle  for $33.33 SHIPPED.  I think I’ll use for a giveaway later. Tip:  The limit is 1, of each color! So if you’d like one for each family member, just snag them in a different colors.

I also found some adorable toddler dresses that are an additional 30% off of their already low prices.  Some even have a $3 off coupon attached to them!  How sweet is that?!  My little girl will be stylin’ this fall in her twirly dresses!

I’m on the fence about purchasing an Instapot.  I know they are all the rage and I have many blogger friends who love them.  I just don’t know if I can handle one more kitchen appliance right now.. I may end up going for it anyway though, because it’s at the lowest price EVER.

Normal things like toilet paper and natural dish soap are also priced well enough that you should be stocking up.  I am a fan of Scott tissue because it isn’t dusty, and we never end up with clogged toilets when we use it.

So in past years the deals have been mostly electronics focused, but this year I can say they really covered all their bases and are offering such a wide variety of things to chose from.

Just a tip: If you have anything saved in your cart pop over to the product page and see if it has any extra coupons or if they are offering an extra certain percentage off at the checkout.  I noticed a few items in my cart had DROPPED in price, AND had extra savings attached to it as a part of Prime Day.

If you have any questions, message me and I’m happy to help you!

Happy Shopping!!

Hey Friend! I am truly so glad that you’re here today!

At A Slightly Better Wife, I share about faith, homemaking, homeschooling, and marriage—along with my passion for creating a non-toxic, intentional home. Life isn’t about perfection, but I believe in making small, meaningful choices each day to do things slightly better than before.

My love for simple living and homemaking was deeply shaped by my grandparents. I have the best childhood memories of being in the kitchen with my Grandma Edna, learning the beauty of home-cooked meals and a well-tended home. My Grandpa Link’s storytelling and wisdom instilled in me the value of faith, family, and slowing down to listen during the little moments that make life rich. Their influence is woven into who I am today and I’m so grateful for that.

I’m a wife, a momma of 5, and a homemaker at heart. My husband and I met young, just days after my 18th birthday, and we quickly (like within a week) knew that forever was in our plans.

Together, we built our home on the edge of town, where we’re raising and homeschooling our children while embracing a simple, purposeful life in the city.

Here, you’ll find encouragement for your marriage, practical tips for homemaking, and inspiration to cultivate a home filled with faith and love. Whether you’re looking for a recipe, a fresh perspective, or just a place to feel understood, I hope you’ll stay awhile and explore.

Let’s pursue slightly better together!
