Do you have a ‘busy’ toddler? I know I sure do! My 3 year old always wants to help out and do things like her big siblings do.
Because I love to share ideas that encourage you in raising your little people, I have a quick tip for you!
You may have seen this tip already on my Mudroom Makeover post, but just in case you haven’t, here it is!
Put hooks down low where your littles can reach them!

Yep, that’s it. I used an entire webpage and a YouTube video just to share that with you! haha.
Okay really though, I think it is so important to guide our little ones into helping out with chores and tasks that they can handle.
Sometimes we overlook the little things, don’t we?
If you take a few minutes to install (I’m using that term loosely- as I use sticky command hooks) hooks down low so they can hang their coat it will free you up from doing it, and teach them a little independence!
Your child can most definitely master this within a day or two.
Do you have any other tips for creating a home environment where little people can pitch in and help out? I’d love to hear about it! You can share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Yes! I’ve done this all over our house. I love command hooks. Sweaters, coats, backpacks, bathroom towels. All stuff they can hang up if they can reach!
ooo Those are some good ideas! I could use more of these in my life. haha!
