In my hurry of making my relationship with my husband, and homeschooling our littles a priority, I sometimes (okay, often times) forget to make my friends a priority too. This week has been full of playdates, backyard chats with friends, encouragement and conversations at MOPS, shared meals, and a late-night-turned-early-morning momma’s night in at a friend’s house.
My love tank is filled and I feel so overwhelmingly refreshed by doing life alongside of my sweet friends.
Life is better together.
This life of mine is as sweet as an ice cream sundae!
Also, some PRACTICAL ADVICE for all of you women out there: Any hostess that serves ice cream in adorable cups with alllll the toppings is someone that you want to have as a friend for life! They are real people that know what’s important. ♥
I’m praying that each of you have friends you can do life with, and that you can find the balance between home and “out there” in the world. I’m still looking for mine, but I think I’m getting closer.

Quick Side Note: At the mom’s night I suggested the book titled The Body Book, to a friend whose daughter is at just that age where totally normal (but seemingly weird) stuff starts happening to your body. It’s by far the best book we’ve owned on the topic of puberty and body changes. My teen has read it multiple times and uses it as a reference. I highly recommend it!
