Yesterday morning when I woke up I found out that one of our vehicles had a flat tire, another had a dead battery, and the third was working fine, thank you.
There are three drivers in this house and we all three needed to be in different places.
Crap. Things felt hard within the first two minutes of my waking.
I wanted to cancel my whole day to sort it out, but I couldn’t let everyone down.
Avoiding the problem wasn’t a viable option either, because, as we know, life goes on and those vehicles would be needed another day.
Long story short, 12 hours and nearly $200 later everyone had attended the activities they needed to, all the vehicles were working properly, AND, get this… we were able to loan one of the vehicles out to a friend.
That’s the sweet presence of Jesus, friends.
Compromises needed to be made and schedules needed to be adjusted, but everything worked out.
The most important thing I want you to know is that even when things are tough, it always gets better. I promise you that.
Do me a favor? When the circumstances of your life seems hard, ride out the storm.
YOU ARE STRONG.
