They don’t care that it’s been only 39 minutes since they last ate, my little people are hungry, always.
It’s tough being a momma and coming up with meal ideas multiple times a day, each and every day. You’d think we would all have it mastered by now.
Here’s my advice to get you through a dinnertime slump:
When in doubt, dump all the leftovers you have into a crock pot (or pan on the stove), add 1-2 cans of organic black beans, pour on some tomato sauce, & sprinkle taco seasoning over the whole works. Serve it over chips and lettuce with a dollop of sour cream. Be sure to call it something familiar like “tacos” even if the “meat” has chunks of broccoli, sweet potatoes, etc. lurking in it.
I don’t know the magic behind it, and I don’t need to- my WHOLE FAMILY eats this sort of thing without fussing AND it cleans out my fridge.
