Hey all you locals!
I have some quick news to share. A former classmate of mine has started a new adventure and it involves donuts. Also, I started selling books.
Books + Donuts= Full Heart.
Now that I’ve got your attention, let me share some basic details. I’d tell you more, but you know I have a baby in the house and time is extremely limited (like, I have less than 10 minutes to myself a day, including blogging and bathroom breaks. Hey, don’t cry for me Argentina, the other benefits of this motherhood gig are pretty dang amazing).
The Donuts:
It’s a pop up called South Shore Donut Co. You can, and should, find them on Facebook. We picked up our first variety pack at Thursday’s on Main in Clear Lake and we were blown away. I mean you think “a donut is a donut”, until you try these. Suddenly a gas station Krispy Kreme will never be enough again. I’m not kidding, and you know how I feel about gas station donuts and coffee.
If you’re local, you can get your donuts at Thursday’s on Main, or on donut days. Check their facebook page for more details.
The books:
I signed up as a consultant for Usborne books and more. I’ve been buying these books for almost a decade; it was time to become an official book lady. I’m looking forward to this adventure! Right now I have a show open as a fundraiser for our homeschooling. I’d love if you would take a peek at the books, and learning tools, to see if there is anything you could use in your home.
Anyone can order and have the books shipped right to their door (or someone else’s door, as a gift). Here’s the link for that: https://l6923.myubam.com/727866.
If you need book suggestions let me know. Our favorites are these: Everyone Poops and The Children’s Encyclopedia.
That’s it folks. Plain and simple!
I hope you’re all doing well, and I’d love to hear about what is new in your life too. You can comment, or send me a message.
I’m going to use my spare 30 seconds here to get a drink of water, use the bathroom, and check the mail. Ha! See you again soon!
