With the library closed, we have been rediscovering the books on our shelves at home.
This week the kids are learning about discrimination and some empowering women who have made big differences in the world with their bold actions.
Dolores Huerta is my seven-year old’s favorite story right now. You can find it for cheap on Kindle, or read it for free if you have Kindle FreeTime.
Forewarning: She says “it will break your heart at first, but it has a happy ending”. It really is a great story with a beautiful lesson in equality and bravely standing up for what you believe in.
I want to know, who are the INSPIRING people in YOUR life?
Do they KNOW that they inspire you?
If not, send them a message or a note to let them know what they mean to you!
