Over the weekend, we stopped in to visit my dad (aka Grandpa). He sent us home with two baggies of peanuts—one for the kids, and one for their daddy. The kids and their dad put theirs together, and here’s what they made!
I’m absolutely loving my $30 food processor from Amazon. Thank you to everyone who chimed in over on Facebook when I asked about them! I didn’t want anything too big or fancy yet—admittedly, I’m a bit of a kitchen utensil collector, and space is limited!
In the past, we’ve made peanut butter using a mortar and pestle. That method works wonderfully and is surprisingly therapeutic. These days, though, simple steps are key:
Homemade Peanut Butter in a Flash:
-
Add peanuts, a little oil, and honey to the food processor.
-
Blend until smooth, adjusting the oil as needed to reach your desired creamy texture. No measuring required—just go with your gut!
-
Enjoy!
It’s simple, wholesome, and something the whole family can enjoy making together.
