Me (to the just turned 5yr old): If you sit well at the orchestra meeting today, you can have some ice cream when we get home.
Kids just don’t forget, do they?! Ha! I fully intended to make right on my end of the deal, but I needed to put groceries away first.
Well, she went ahead and helped herself. She’s pretty self-sufficient. It was too precious not to snap a photo of!
Also, if it interests you, she cannot reach the bowls so she grabbed a clean spoon for each bite… and now every.single.spoon. is in the dishwasher. Bahaha!
Take a lesson for 5 year old:

- Know what you want, and GO FOR IT!
